Autumn Classical Music Festival in Frome

Our vision

7–13 September 2026

Cavatina will host a week of concerts ranging from intimate chamber recitals to full orchestral spectacles.

By partnering with local businesses and churches, we will celebrate the character of Frome and its remarkable venues.

A season of events

September 2025 – Walled Garden at Mells
Four musicians—two singers and two string players—will present early Baroque arias and instrumental duets in a setting as enchanting as the music itself.

Easter 2026 – Cavatina at Rye Bakery
Morning: a relaxed “cushion concert” for children and parents.
Evening: a chamber performance in the bakery’s main hall, plus a spiritual programme in the evocative Mells Church.

Autumn 2026 – The Main Festival
A full week of music across Frome, culminating in two orchestral concerts at St John’s Church.

Before the main festival, we’re bringing music to the community with a series of intimate performances.
